Obituary of Carla Gladolla Moore Korjan

Funeral services for Mrs. Carla Gladolla Moore Korjan are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until 3 PM service time at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Korjan, a resident of Bastrop and a former resident of Mer Rouge, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and drawing. Mrs. Korjan was a retired CNA but continued to do private duty at patient's homes until she was no longer able. Mrs. Korjan is survived by her daughter, Brenda Phalen & husband Mike of Lima, OH; son, Chris Edward Korjan & wife Martha of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Shannon Nicole Korjan, Brandon Eugene Korjan, Steven Brock Korjan, Venus Marie Phalen, Casandra Ann (Phalen) Keysor, Carla Marie (Phalen) Mault, Catherine Elizabeth Phalen and Alyshia Mariah Phalen; great grandchildren, Kelcie Renee Korjan, Tyler Devon Alford, Bradley Christopher Korjan, Bryson Chance Korjan, Anthony Matthew "T.J." Keysor, Jr., Christopher Lee Keysor and Alexandra Lou Gresmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Emil Korjan; son, Danny Korjan; parents, James Arthur Moore and Ida Melisse Moore; sisters, Berthie Chappel, Media Holbrook, Leona Sellers, Margaret Pearson, Lucy McCabe, Florine Poteete, Lovitta West, Sue Eubanks and Reesie Mae Moore; brothers, Tom Moore, Herman Moore and Curtis Moore. Serving as pallbearers are: Mike Moore, Zack Moore, Clay Moore, Steven Korjan, Brandon Korjan and Jimmy Sharpton. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Sellers, Ricky Gross, Mark West and Lloyd Roberson.
