Obituary of Jean Beard Tilbury

A celebration of life for Mrs. Jean Beard Tilbury is scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Loveday officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Tilbury, an employee of the United States Postal Service, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. She was born September 28, 1927 in Bastrop, LA and lived the past 54 years in Collinston, LA. Mrs. Tilbury was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and She and Mr. Tilbury owned Collinston Mercantile and J & E Antiques. Mrs. Tilbury is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Tilbury; son, Robert Harrell; nephew, Michael Creech; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Helen and Arnold Creech. She is survived by her son, Lloyd Tilbury and wife Jeannie of West Monroe, LA; daughter, Pam Audirsch and husband Keith of Collinston, LA; daughter-in-law, Linda Harrell of Magnolia, AR; granddaughters, Kristen Tilbury, Kaitlyn Mayo and husband Billy; grandsons, Blake Harrell and wife La Donna, Kelsey Harrell and wife Abby; great granddaughter, Faith Mayo; great grandsons, Donovan Harrell, Declan Harrell, Johnathan Harrell; niece, Dawn Goodwin; nephew, John Creech; special daughter, Karen Audirsch Smith. Mrs. Tilbury's family would like to say a special thank you to all the visits, calls and prayers from our many friends and relatives.
