Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Lee Holloway Rochetti are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Christ Church Cemetery with Rev. Henry Stone officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Born on May 15, 1918, into a pioneer family from Marion, LA, Agnes Rochetti was the daughter of Olby Beldon and Maggie Eugenia Russell Holloway. Following graduation from Marion High School, she joined her sister, Bertie Holloway, in Chicago, IL, where she was an administrative employee of Sears, Roebuck & Company for over 25 years. She and her husband Mario Joseph Rochetti retired to Bastrop in 1982, where she lived until her death on February 27, 2015. Her family was the focus of her life, evidenced by her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Agnes Rochetti, "Aunt Aggie," was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Clara Mae Holloway Berry, Faye Holloway Moeller, Bertie Holloway Labaganari; and brothers, Olby Beldon Holloway, Jr., Charles A. Holloway, and Hewitt Holloway. She is survived by one brother, Russell Holloway and wife Connie; nephews, Jerry Moeller, Jimmy Moeller, Hewitt Reily Holloway, William Holloway; nieces, Bennie Berry Barham, Patricia Connor, Sandy Bounds, Eugenia Holloway Money, Glenda Couch, Joyce Stanfield, Crystal Boltin, and Christie Holloway; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rochetti's family would like to extend their heart-felt gratitude to the staff at Lagniappe Healthcare for exceptional care of their loved one.
