Obituary of Tommy "Papaw" Wilkerson

Funeral services for Mr. Tommy "Papaw" Wilkerson, age 78, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Campanale officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Tuesday, March 10 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilkerson, retired, loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and he enjoyed "tinkering" with anything around.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Malone; sons, Roy Wilkerson, John Wilkerson and wife Becky; brother, Jerry Wilkerson and wife Gabrielle; grandchildren, Carol Wilkerson, Daniel Wilkerson, Baylee Malone, Grace Malone; great grandchild, Zoie Armstrong.
Mr. Wilkerson is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Wilkerson, grandson, Burchell Wilkerson, granddaughter, Elizabeth Wilkerson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Hughes, Jacob Post, Ronnie White, Scotty Jones, Charlie Gunter, and Gene Gunter. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Hughes, John Foster, and members of the Salter Hunting Club.
