Funeral services for Mr. James K. Fuller, age 81, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12 - 2 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Fuller, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015. He was a retired International Paper Company employee. Mr. Fuller was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family, especially on camping trips. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Frank Fuller, Sr. and Lavurne Fuller, and siblings, Frank, Widmon, Raymond, Monard, Dean, Loye Fuller, Faye Newcomer, Margie Fuller, and Helen Wilson. Mr. Fuller is survived by his wife, Celia M. Fuller; children, Steve Fuller and wife Leah of Bastrop, LA, Pat Avery and husband Mike of Bastrop, LA, Phillip Fuller and wife Becky of Bastrop, LA; two grandchildren, Christy Fuller of Bastrop, LA, Quincy Avery and wife Tasha of Bastrop, LA; and two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Avery and Cason Avery, both of Bastrop, LA. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Fuller, Danny Fuller, Kent Fuller, Raymond Lingefelt, Joey Keene, and John Fuller. Honorary pallbearers are Clark Bowen, T.G. Kimball, and Tony Cooper.
