Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Wyatt Mayo, age 83, are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at Golden Funeral Home.
She is survived by her sisters, Edna Okruhlik, Betty Brixey, Carolyn Allen; special niece, Ann Lambert; many other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mayo, a homemaker, was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church and loved flower gardening in her yard. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Wyatt and Isa Jackson Wyatt; husband, G.C. Mayo; daughter, Pamela Mayo; siblings, Wilbur and Luey Wyatt, Flora Goad, Virginia Ghent, Frances Choate, and Ina Mae Slaughter.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Mike Brixey, Calvin Lambert, Shane Brixey, Doug Lambert, Randy Haynes and Matt Rassmusen.
