Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Kelly, age 59, are scheduled for 4 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Memorial United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, July 20 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kelly, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. She owned Notary Plus and enjoyed a long professional paralegal career. She is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Townsend and her father, Dr. Ted Pollard.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Kelly; mother, Mary Pollard; daughters, Melanie Paige Tubbs Yelverton and husband Andy of West Monroe, Ashley Dawn Tubbs Langford of Austin, TX; son, Jon Morgan Tubbs of Austin, TX; sisters, Elizabeth Solomon and husband Ray of Charlotte, NC, Virginia Kittredge and husband Jerry of Carrolton, TX; grandchildren, Bailey Johnson, Micah Harris, Damon Langford; step-grandchildren, Marissa Yelverton, Madison Yelverton, Mason Yelverton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Andy Yelverton, Jerry Kittredge, Christopher Kittredge, Benjamin Kittredge, Jon Morgan Tubbs, Damon Wade, and Nicholas Finister.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or charity of the donors choice.
