A memorial service for Mrs. Linda Brooks Bankson Gregroy, age 66, will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gregory is preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, Marion Bankson and George Gregory.
Mrs. Gregory, a resident of Collinston, a retired secretary for Titan Construction and a caregiver, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015. Mrs. Gregory was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved being outdoors and working in her yard, spending time with her family, and checking on the elderly. Mrs. Gregory was an amazing soul and a beautiful spirit.
Mrs. Gregory is survived by two sons, Chantz Bankson, Justin Bankson, both of Bastrop, LA; two sisters, Patsy Lucas and husband Buster of Destin, FL, and twin sister, Brenda Brooks of Bastrop, LA; one brother, Billy James Brooks of San Jose, CA; and one grandchild, Nadaylea Bostick of Sterlington, LA.
