Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Randall Bennett, age 71, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Fowler, Rev. Roger Johnson, and Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Saturday, July 25 at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Bennett, a loving husband and welder for Texas Gas for 30 years, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church and the church ministry team. He loved camping, fishing, and a little golf. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wanda "Bitsy" Bennett; brother, David Bennett & wife Rita; sister-in-law, Linda Bennett; sister-in-law, Gail Bennett Allen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frankie Alford and wife Barbara; nephew, Joel Alford and wife Kara; niece, Melanie Alford; great nieces, Becca and Emily Alford; and many other special nieces and nephews. Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his son, Randy Bennett; parents, Harold and Mildred Bennett; brothers, Harold and Don Bennett. Serving as pallbearers will be Tab Musgrove, Jerry Moore, Larry McDonald, Will Musgrove, Perry Eppinette, and Ethan Burke. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Joe Don Lenard, and former workers of Texas Gas.
