Obituary of Christopher Eric Wilkerson

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Christopher Eric Wilkerson are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Justin Akers officiating. Mr. Wilkerson, age 43, worked at Alpine Nursing Home as Head Dietitian. He attended South Parkway Church in Ruston, LA, and also volunteered for Teen Challenge. Mr. Wilkerson was known to be an excellent chef by his friends and family. He was very outgoing, had a great personality, and was loved by many. He is survived by his fiancée, Melissa Bullock of Ruston, LA; father, Willis Thomas Wilkerson of Bastrop, LA; siblings, Kevin Wilkerson of Grand Junction, CO, and Keith Wilkerson and wife Tina of Bastrop, LA; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Wilkerson is preceded in death by his mom, Gloria Jean Dampier; grandparents, Ted and Alyce Baker and Willis Rufus and Beulah Wilkerson.
