Funeral services for Mr. Steven Mark "Rudy" Rushing, age 49, are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, August 18, 2015 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Musgrove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2015 from 5 PM - 7 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Rushing worked for Professional Service Incorporated. He loved to fish and hunt and everyone who knew him, loved him.
He is survived by his father, Ellis Rushing and wife Judy of Princeton, LA; children, Allen Cowart and wife Adina of Beaumont, TX, Crystal Rushing of Montgomery, AL; siblings, Paula Manning and husband Paul and Susan Fulmer, all of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Ashton Cowart, Kirsten Cowart, Alyssa Battenfield, Tyler Battenfield, Alysha Rushing, Kendrick Hicks, Elyleah Hicks, Chloe Hicks; niece, Molly Fulmer; nephews, Tyler Manning and Ryan Fulmer; and numerous beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mr. Rushing is preceded in death by his mother, Genova Rushing; sister, Becky Lynn Rushing and his grandparents.
