Funeral services for Mrs. Dolores "Tootsie" Kyser, age 87 of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Golden Funeral Home with Lt. Col. Bruce Rux, Chaplain retired U.S. Army officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 8 PM Monday, August 17 at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kyser, a homemaker and member of First Presbyterian Church of Bastrop, loved her flowers, working in her yard and traveling.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Carter and husband Jon Paul of Collinston, LA; son, James "Butch" Kyser and wife Mary Jane of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Leah and Maure Kyser, Monica Kathleen Carter; great grandchildren, Mary Grace Kyser and Ava Kyser.
Mrs. Kyser is preceded in death by her husband, James Kyser, Jr.; sons, John and Frank Kyser; parents, and two sisters.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jon Paul Carter, Chris Carter, Richard White, Hank Adams, David Street, and Andy Anderson.
