Obituary of Shirley "Bonnie" Morgan Shipp

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley "Bonnie" Morgan Shipp, age 78 of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Trinity Assembly of God with Rev. Kenneth Pack officiating. Interment will follow in Causey Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, November 9 from 6 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Shipp, a retired beautician, passed away November 7, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God who loved her family and loved cooking especially for family gatherings. She was also an avid seamstress and very talented at crocheting. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Watt & wife Barbara of Bastrop, LA, Alan Watt & wife LaDonna of Summerville, SC, Gregory Watt & wife Hollie of Crossett, AR; sister, Mildred Hartley of Georgetown, SC; brother, James C. Morgan & wife Lynn of Farmerville, LA; grandchildren, Jimmy Watt & wife Heather, Candy Bulloch & husband Scott, John Watt & wife Megan, Durenda Rodriguez, Brittney Watt & fiance' Chris Hampton, Stacha Hughes, Austin Wooten; fifteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shipp is preceded in death by her parents, Carey & Audrey Morgan; brother, Roy Morgan; sisters, Brenda Davis & Faye Walker. Serving as pallbearers will be, Austin Wooten, Jerry Case, Brad White, James Watt, Timmy Watt, Gene Watt, David Watt, & J.L. Case. Honorary pallbearers will be, Donnie Goleman, Jimmy Arrant, & Jimmy Watt.
