Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Willard Wallace, Sr., age 94, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 13, 2015, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Wallace, a life long resident of Morehouse Parish, retired construction worker and World War II Veteran, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Mr. Wallace was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and listening to fox hounds on a trail. Mr. Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Wallace and Minnie McIntyre Wallace; wife, Lena Braddock Wallace; son, William (Buddy) Wallace; grandsons, Thomas Wade Wallace and William Warren Wallace; brothers, Marlon Wallace and Berlon Wallace and wife Sarah Parker Wallace; sisters, Blanche W. Hughes and husband J.B. Hughes, Lucille Dopson and husband Genie Dopson, and Gloria Spikes; daughter-in-law, Sandra Gandy Wallace. He is survived by two sons, T.W. Wallace, Jr. and wife Peggy and John Wayne Wallace, all of Morehouse Parish; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and seventeen great great grandchildren. Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, November 12, 2015, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Golden Funeral Home. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Hughes, Gerald Wallace, Ronald Wallace, Robbie Wallace, William Gorman, and Chris Hawthorn.
