Funeral services for Mr. Paul D. Herrington are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Luther Sanson and Bro. Tim Post officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Herrington, a retired Mill worker and member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015, at the age of 72. He was a resident of Bastrop, LA, and known to be an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Johnston Herrington; daughters, Donna Hall and husband Mark of Bastrop, LA, and Lisa Greer and husband Paul of Vicksburg, MS; sister, Algenia McKee of Bastrop, LA; sisters-in-law, Lillie Herrington and Yvonne Tyson; brother-in-law, Owens Sims; grandchildren, Sam Greer, Zach Greer and wife Samantha, Brandon Hall and wife Parea; one great grandchild, Levi Hall and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Herrington is preceded in death by his parents, P.D. and Eva Herrington; brothers, Little P.D. Herrington, Marvin Herrington, Jackie Herrington; and one sister, Virginia Sims; and brother-in-law, Wayne McKee.
