Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Bell Lusby, age 90, are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, February 1, 2016, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman Cemetery.
Mrs. Lusby, a homemaker, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Jane Powell of Bastrop, LA, Barbara Gregory Swartz and husband Jackie of Bastrop, LA, Vivian Sue Brown of Bastrop, LA, Mabel Sawyer and husband Henry of Bastrop, LA; her sons, Jerald Lusby of Texarkana, TX, Larry Lusby and wife Nelda of Bastrop, LA, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one niece, Lorraine Cross.
Mrs. Lusby is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd O'Neal Lusby and son, Lester Neal Lusby.
Pallbearers will be; Dennis Gregory, Shelby Gregory, Toby Gregory, Ronald Meeks, Carl Lusby and Steven Brown.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2 - 4 PM at Goldens.
