Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Donna Tillery Cooke, age 65, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Culp officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Cooke, a retired Barber/Stylist, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. She loved her family and loved and supported her husband at the foxpen. Her homemade biscuits were always a hit. Mrs. Cooke was a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church. She lived to help people and would help in any way possible. Mrs. Cooke enjoyed arranging flowers for the church and loved wood-working when she was able to enjoy it. She is survived by her husband, David Cooke; daughter, Kim Cooke of Vicksburg, MS; sons, Mike Cooke and wife Cheryl of Vicksburg, MS, Ricky Cooke of Bastrop; brothers, Ronnie Tillery of Grand Isle, LA, Steve Tillery of Bastrop; grandchildren, Makayla Cooke, Chase Cooke, Christopher Holt; great grandchildren, Nathan Cooke and Riley Cooke; mother-in-law, Patsy McIntyre; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lynn and Beth McIntyre and brother-in-law Deuce McIntyre; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cooke is preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Harold Tillery and father-in-law, L.M. McIntyre.
