Obituary of William F. "Bud" Anderson

Funeral services for Mr. William F. "Bud" Anderson, age 86, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at North Bastrop Church of God with Rev. David Sistrunk officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Anderson, a retired Pipeline Inspector, passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. He was a past member of the Mt. Gerzim Masonic Lodge and a member of the ARKLA 10-4 CB Club, his handle was "Coon-Hunter". Mr. Anderson enjoyed goin to auctions, going to Gospel singings, and riding motorcycles, but he loved peddling watermelons and tomatoes the most. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie Humble of Calhoun, LA, Sharon Suarez of Mer Rouge, LA; son, Damon Anderson of Mer Rouge, LA; sisters, Irene West of Bastrop, LA, Ruth Costin and husband Don of Mer Rouge, LA; brother, Bill Anderson and wife Margie of Oak Grove, LA; twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his parents, William and Hazel Anderson; wives, Dorothy Nutt Anderson and Melba Costin Anderson; son, Lynn Anderson; brothers, Cotton Anderson and Earl Anderson. Pallbearers will be; Mitch West, Mark West, Steven Little, Troy Crumley, Don Staples, Regan Hunter, and Aaron Michael Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are David Hofford, James O'Neal, Leroy Harden, Don Costin, and Travis Womack. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 5 PM - 8 PM at North Bastrop Church of God.
