Obituary of Lloyd Glenn Robinson

Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd Glenn Robinson will be held at 10 AM Monday, July 25, 2016 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bodie Spicer officiating. Interment will follow in Hughes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Robinson, a resident of Bastrop, was born on May 13, 1938 in Crossett, AR and passed away July 20, 2016 after an illness in Murfreesboro, TN. Mr. Robinson was a long time member of Faith Baptist Church and worked life long in the papermill industry. Mr. Robinson is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beaulah "Boo" Robinson; infant son, Edward Alton Robinson; parents, Lloyd and Lois Robinson; and brother, Donald Alton Robinson. Mr. Robinson is survived by his four children, son, Terry Glenn Robinson and wife Heather, daughter, Glynis Gayle Murray, son, Randy Joe Robinson and wife Amy, son, Kelly Lloyd Robinson and wife Darlene; six grandchildren, Denise Carolyn Robinson, Travis Lane Murray, Douglas Carroll Murray and wife Jasmine, Sydney Arden Hutson and husband Lucas, Whitney Renee Robinson and husband Walker, Faith Robinson; four great grandchildren, Jacob Isaiah Robinson, Jayden Lane Murray, Nathan Carroll Murray, London June Hutson; and his loving brother, Thomas Edward Robinson and beloved sister-in-law Wilma "Cissy" McNaughton. Serving as pallbearers are: Terry "Jake T" Robinson, Kelly Lloyd Robinson, Randy Joe Robinson, Thomas Edward Robinson, Mark Spillers, Douglas Carroll Murray and Trandy Carpenter. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
