Obituary of Samuel "Sammy" Larkin Seale

Samuel Larkin Seale was born August 4, 1939 in Holly Ridge, LA, and passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at his residence in Bastrop, at the age of seventy-seven. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, January 1, 2017 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Carter, Bro. Andy Myrick, and Bro. Randy Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 5 - 7 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Mr. Seale is preceded in death by his parents, William Woody and Elizabeth Mann Seale; and two sisters, Marie Adair and Elaine Conoway. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Ouida Seal; daughters, Samantha Tillman and husband Donny, of Bastrop, and Mickie Wooden and husband Todd, of Bastrop; five grandchildren, Brittany Faulkenberry and husband Paul, of Bastrop, Rachel Purser and husband Zachary, of Clinton, MS, Cameryn Wooden, Gracie Wooden, and Clayton Wooden, all of Bastrop; one great-grandchild, Shelby Larkin Faulkenberry, of Bastrop; sister-in-law, Donna Henson, and husband John, of Chatham, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Seale was a retiree of Rimcor after over twenty-five years; a life-long master brick mason; and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, in Chatham, LA. He had a great love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Steven Mann, Richard Mann, Glen Mann, Bruce Craig, Eugene Mann, Ricky Hendricks, and Tom Futch.
