Funeral services for Mr. Roy Elvin Haynes, age 84, are scheduled for 3 PM Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Hearron. Visitation will be held from 2 PM until 3 PM service time. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Haynes, member of Faith Baptist Church and retired Georgia Pacific employee, passed away Friday, February 10, 2016. He loved to hunt, fish, going camping and bowling.
He is survived by his daughter, Lou Ann Jones and husband Philip; son Lee Haynes and wife Mary Ann; grandchildren, Kristi Toblesky and husband Kevin, JoAnna Hurst and husband Justin, Jenny Herman, Brandon Jones and wife Allison, Candace Pierce and husband Blake; great grandchildren, Zack, Zane, Taylor, Tori, Ally Kate, Jace, Judah, Hannah and Alizah.
Mr. Haynes is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Haynes; parents, Clifton D. and Ida Haynes; two sisters, Vernell O'Neil, Ruby Loveless; one brother, D.C. Haynes; great grandson, Hunter Jones.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Jones, Blake Pierce, Kevin Toblesky, Bill O'Neil, Charles Burns, Travis Stephenson and Bill Ellingburg. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Goyne and Robert Stone.
Memorial contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church, 1032 Old Warren Rd, Monticello, AR 71655.
