Graveside funeral services for Mr. Thomas “T.G.” Kimball are scheduled for 4 PM, Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery, Spearsville, LA, officiated by Mr. Joe Nichols and Mr. Chris Kimball. Visitation will be from noon until 2 PM, Sunday afternoon at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Kimball, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the West Carroll Health Center, at the age of eighty-four. He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty-eight years, Carolyn Hollis Kimball. Survivors include his daughter, Kim Cloessner, and husband Dan, of Jonesville, LA; sons, Kenny Kimball, and wife Ann, of Bastrop, LA, and Dennis Kimball, and wife Kathy, of Plant City, FL; sisters, Artie Lee Evans, of Oak Grove, LA, and Dolly Sawyer, of Bastrop, LA; six grandchildren, De Ann Morris, Chris Kimball, Chad Kimball, Erin Baxter, Nathan Cloessner, and Hanah Cloessner; and twelve great-grandchildren. Mr. Kimball, was an employee of International Paper Company, from which he retired after a forty-one year career. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was still water skiing with them at the age of seventy-nine. He also enjoyed camping and was a thirty-second degree Mason and a U.S. Army veteran. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny Kimball, Dennis Kimball, Chris Kimball, Nathan Cloessner, and Nathan Morris. Honorary pallbearers are Dan Cloessner and Melvin Holmes.
