Obituary of Bruin E. Dew

Funeral services for Mr. Bruin E. Dew, age 92, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. David Rader officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 PM until 3 PM service time at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Dew, an employee of International Paper Company for 38 years, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017. He loved his family, traveling and he enjoyed country music with a good old fiddle sound. He is survived by his sons, Don Dew and wife Phyllis of Bastrop, LA, Randy Dew of Monroe, LA; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Dew of Petal, MS; brothers, Henry Dew of Bastrop, LA, Jewel Dew of Bastrop, LA; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous cousins and extended family. Mr. Dew is preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Fowler Dew; son, Wayne Dew; brother, Thomas Dew; sister, Estelle Gatlin and great grandson Micah Dew. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Dew, Wayne Dew, Jr., Tommy Dew, Pat Dew, Steven Dew and Eli White. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Dew, Glen Harper, Kevin Denton, Eddie Denton, Randy Porter, Carl Corley.
