Funeral services for Mrs. Rosetta "Rosie" Mae Sriver Dreher are scheduled for 2 PM, Friday, April 7, 2017, at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Nichols and Mr. Murphy Crowson officiating. Private family interment will follow at the Mer Rouge Cemetery. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 12 noon. Mrs. Dreher was a resident of Bastrop, and passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at the age of ninety-nine. She is preceded in death by her husband Murphy T. Dreher, who she married on December 28, 1939, at Greenville, MS; her parents, Charles and Marie Sriver; sister, Georgia Dreher; and brothers, Francis Sriver and Charles Sriver. Survivors include her children, Judith Crowson and husband Marvin of Searcy, AR, Rosanne Dreher of Denver, CO, Hugh Dreher and wife Brenda, of Bastrop; sister, Dorothy Krizer, of Fillmore, CA; grandchildren, Katy Dreher Moreland of Monroe, LA, Murphy Crowson of Rwanda, Africa, Georgia Wolfe of Colorado, Melanie Fulmer of Sterlington; and great-grandchildren, Stephen Crowson, Matthew Crowson, RaeAn Crowson, Dreher Moreland, Dale Fulmer, Isabella Fulmer, Rhett Fulmer, Daniel Wolfe, Anna Wolfe, Nicole Wolfe, and Benjamin Wolfe. Serving the family as pallbearers are grandsons and great-grandsons, Murphy Crowson, Stephen Crowson, Dale Fulmer, Dreher Moreland, and Rhett Fulmer, along with Rodger Fulmer and George Moreland. Mrs. Rosetta was a long-time member of the Central Church of Christ. She was a creative person, often designing clothes for her family and mission projects. Her hands were always busy as a homemaker, a church worker, Sunday School teacher, and extended a helping hand to various missions and children's homes. She loved to sew, garden, try new recipes, and travel. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the LeGrand Staff and to Shelia Counts for their care to Mrs. Dreher.
