Graveside funeral services for Mr. Allen R. Wheeler are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Causey Cemetery in Beekman, LA.  Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 PM Saturday at Goldens.  Mr. Wheeler, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at the age of sixty-one.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Watson Wheeler, and sisters, Vanessa Vickers and Janie Rich.

Mr. Wheeler is survived by his mother, Mary Lavada Wheeler; siblings, David Russell Wheeler and wife Sheila, of Houston, TX, Debra L. Pullen, and husband Dwain, of Bastrop; nieces and nephews, Christopher Wheeler, Ryan Wheeler, Melissa Wheeler, Courtney Wheeler, Aaron Vickers, Kyle Vickers, Chad Grantadams, April Brewton, Steve Pullen, Timothy Rich, Brandon Rich, and Casey Rich.
