Obituary of John Thomas Kendall, Sr.

Funeral services for Mr. John Thomas Kendall, Sr. are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Twin Oaks Baptist Church, with Rev. Luther Sanson officiating.  Interment will follow at the Bartholomew Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation will precede the service from 12 noon until 2 PM.

Mr. Kendall, age seventy-seven, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at his residence in Kilbourne, LA, surrounded by his loving family.  He was an inventor and enjoyed working on small engines.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Valentine Kendall and Myrtle Christine White Kendall Crumley; and brother, Jimmy Kendall, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Louise Young Kendall; daughters, Diane Collins and husband Donnie and Delores Amador and husband Robert; sons, John Thomas Kendall, Jr. and fiancee' Stacy, Roy Wayne Kendall and wife Joan, and Tommy Edward “Bubba” Kendall; sister, Sadie Barnett; grandchildren, Rebecca Rainbolt, Teresa Hall, Kelsea Little, Joey Kendall, Heather Collins, Patrick Collins, Jamie C. Collins, and Don Collins, Jr., Malorie Hemphill, Kaylee Kendall, Malissa Kendall, and Marissa Kendall; and many great-grandchildren.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Colby Hall, Jamie Collins, Patrick Collins, Joey Kendall, Jeremy Rainbolt, Don Collins, Jr., and Daniel Little.
