Mr. Melvin Ray Guice, age 68, of Sterlington, LA, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017. Mr. Guice served his country in the U.S. Air Force.
A military graveside service will be held at 9 a.m Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery and following a celebration of Mel’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at White’s Ferry Road Church, (West Monroe). Officianting the celebration will be Gary Allen Guice, Jr.
Mr. Guice is survived by his daughters, Allicia Guice and Melissa Harris; brothers, Gary Allen Guice, Sr. and Dickie Earl Guice; and his grandchildren, Isabella and Brandon.
He is preceded in death by his partner, Susan Thompson; parents, Marie Guice Richard and Charles Guice, and Jimmie Richard.
