Memorial funeral services for Mr. Gary Lester Travis, age 66, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 5 PM Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Morehouse Country Club with Rev. Ezra Cook officiating.
Mr Travis, a retired brakeman conductor for Union Pacific, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends at the country club.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tammy Travis; mother, Ann Travis; daughter, Emily Free and husband Troy; son, Michael Travis; sister, Karen Walker and husband Kenneth; brother, Lane Travis; grandchildren, Austin Falloon, Jansyn Free, Parker Free, Peyton Free, Ashton Travis and Logan Cole Travis.
Mr. Travis is preceded in death by his father, Lester Travis; son, Garrett Travis; sister, Debbie Mock.
