Obituary of Gloria Gene Andrews Bonner

Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Gene Andrews Bonner, age 73, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. Bill Fowler and Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday.

Mrs. Bonner, a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, went to be with her Lord on Friday, August 18, 2017. She was an Avon sales woman for many years and an excellent seamstress.

She is survived by her husband, one day short of 50 years, Floyd Bonner, Jr.; children, Rhonda Bonner Simmons of West Monroe, LA, Michelle Bonner Crymes of Collinston, LA; sister, Audrey Andrews Ender of Roseville, CA; grandchildren, Jodi White and husband Shane, Jason Fontenot and wife Carla, Robin Wood and husband Jonathon, Jake Hankamer and Stacey Pipkin; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her fur babies, Sweetie and Megan.

Mrs. Bonner is preceded in death by her dad, Fred Andrews; mom, Ollie Stella Andrews; and brothers, Jack Andrews, Alton Andrews, Otis Andrews, Harold Andrews and Freddie Andrews.

Serving as pallbearers are: Jason Fontenot, Jake Hankamer, Jonathon Wood, Donald Ray East, Shane White and Dale Andrews.
