Obituary of Clifton H. Gourley, Jr.

Memorial funeral services for Mr. Clifton H. Gourley, Jr., age 65, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, September 30, 2017 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating.

Mr. Gourley was retired from Georgia Pacific in Crossett. He loved being with his family and never met a stranger. Mr. Gourley enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved to talk and visit with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of twenty seven years, Doris Gourley and sister, Donnie Sue Horn.

Mr. Gourley is preceded in death by is parents, Mildred and Clifton Gourley, Sr.; sisters, Betty Emrah, Mary Lebrun, Billie Jane Wheeler and Martha Gilliam.

Pat Holland and Matt Ray will serve the family as honorary pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 30 from 1 PM - 2 PM service time at the funeral home.
