Obituary of Jimmie Green Bradshaw

Mrs. Jimmie Green Bradshaw, age 86, of Bastrop and a homemaker, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Lagniappe. She loved her friends, family and taking care of her dog, Chico. She would make seven or eight pots of coffee each day for family, neighbors and friends.

Mrs. Bradshaw is survived by her daughter, Aline Waltman of Bastrop; sons, Homer McDougle, Jr. of Anacoco, La., Brad Bradshaw of Long Beach, Ca.; sisters, Elaine Kelley of Bernice, La., Reatha Foster of Choudrant, La.; brother, Melvin Green of Ridgecrest, Ca.; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and two great grandsons.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 28, 2017 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Lance Nugent officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday 12 noon - 1 PM service time at Goldens.
