Obituary of Ebin Lamar Greer, Jr.

After a long courageous battle with Alzehimer’s Ebin Lamar Greer, Jr. crossed into heaven’s gate while holding his wife’s hand early Thursday morning, October 26, 2017.

Memorial funeral services for Mr. Ebin Lamar Greer, Jr. are scheduled for 11 AM Thursday, November 2, 2017 at North Monroe Baptist Church, Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhert officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 AM - 11 AM service time.

He is survived by his wife Judith Mauser Greer of Sterlington, LA. His daughter Julie Patrick Sutton and her husband, Marty and their 2 children Patrick Sutton, his wife Brooke and Victoria Sutton.
His son Richie Patrick and his wife Paige of Springdale, AR. Their children Hunter and his wife Emily, and Brady Patrick.

He had 2 brothers Earl Greer and his wife Joyce along with their daughters, Audrey and Tiffany of Austin, Texas, Mark Greer and his wife Debbie and their son Derreck of Minden, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ebin Lamar Greer, SR and Pansie Mallatte of West Monroe, LA. In-laws Jesse and Jewel Mauser of Bastrop, La.

He was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church and also a member of Sonny Standifer’s Life Group.  He is retired from Ouachita Coca Cola Bottling Company and Bastrop Vocational Technical College where he taught business and computer classes. He remained in contact with many of his students and was so proud of their accomplishments.

Any planned memorials may be sent to the North Monroe Building Fund.
