Obituary of Larry D. Curtis

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Larry D. Curtis, age 77, of Lafayette, LA, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Carter Cemetery with Bro. Hugh G. Curtis officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday at Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Curtis, a retired employee of International Paper Company for many years, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017. He was born in Bastrop, Louisiana and was a Bastrop High School Graduate. He was also a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Mr. Curtis is survived by his son, Bobby D. Curtis; two grandsons, David Gabriel Curtis and wife Brittney, Christopher Jordan Curtis and wife Alecia; a granddaughter, Caley Curtis; two great grandsons and two great granddaughters; brother, Hugh G. Curtis and wife Marce; sister, Betty C. Cline and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Myrtle Curtis; wife, Brenda Barnhill Curtis; son, David W. Curtis; grandsons, Caleb Ryan Curtis, Zachary W. Curtis and a granddaughter, Alayna Brianne Curtis.
