Graveside funeral services for Mr. Charlie Pepper, age 80, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, March 30, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Tim Post officiating under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.

Mr. Pepper, a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with International Paper Company and member of Faith Baptist Church, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 in Monroe. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Mr. Pepper spent many hours tinkering on anything that was broken. He enjoyed motorcycles and loved gardening, camping and fishing. Mr. Pepper was a master mechanic and loved helping friends and neighbors with anything that needed repairing.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Sheila Johnson Pepper; daughters, Sheila Pepper Hundley and husband John, Angela Pepper Busby and husband Stacy; son, Bo Bo Pepper and wife Phyllis; grandchildren, Barrett Pepper and wife Sarah, Corey Pepper and wife Marcy, Shay Hundley Collinsworth and husband Cody, Ethan Hundley and wife Lacey, Zac Moeder, Nick Bovard, and Hannah Champion; great grandchildren, Sam Pepper, Bear Pepper, Adley Pepper, Mae Pepper, Elijah Collinsworth, Bailey Grace Collinsworth, and Heidi Hundley; step children, Scott Landry and wife Nell, Robin Landry Davis and husband Darryl; step grandchildren, Seth Landry and wife Kayla, Jake Landry and wife Allison, Elise Davis; step great grandchildren, Nora Landry and Aubrey Kate Landry and his two favorite dogs, Rubio and Peaches.

Mr. Pepper is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Thelma Pepper; siblings, Genevieve Nelson, Marie Ezell, J.T. Pepper and Jerry Pepper.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
