Funeral services for Kallie Evon Goleman, age 73, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday December 26, 2004 at the First United Pentecostal Church with Revs. A.J. Fulton, Dwight Fulton and James Hawthorne officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Goleman, a retired receptionist from the City of Bastrop, died Thursday December 23, 2004 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Bastrop. She is survived by her husband, James Goleman, Sr.; three sons, Gerald Holland & wife Nancy of Killen, AL, Jim Goleman & wife Janice of Bastrop, Donnie Goleman & wife Karen of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Sandra Goleman; sister-in-law, Jean Nichols; eleven grandchildren, Shane Holland & wife Jeneane, Jimmy Goleman & wife Holly, Jason Thompson & wife April, Chris "Stretch" Thompson, T.J. Goleman, Shane Goleman, Dana Goleman, Paige Rexwinkle & husband K.J., Lara Goleman, KaLynn Fuller & husband Joseph, Brooke Goleman; three great grandsons, Jay Goleman, Preston Fuller, Payton Fuller; two great granddaughters, Savannah Thompson and Jon Beth Holland. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Sally Nichols; son, Larry Goleman; daughter, Sharon Thompson; brother, J.W. Nichols; and grandson, Donnie Goleman, Jr. Pallbearers will be Doug Barton, Jerry Barton, Doug Ramer, Jimmy Garner, Paul Conner , Richard Sebren, Shane Morris and Ray Waller. Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. A.W. Buie, Rev. David Mayo, Dr. Carter Cox, and the City of Bastrop employees. Visitation is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Saturday December 25, 2004 at the First United Pentecostal Church.
