Funeral services for Julia Mae Hooks "Judy" Allen, age 61, of Houma, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Stevenson Cemetery. Mrs. Allen died December 21, 2004 at Canon Hospice of Elmwood in Jefferson Parish. She was a claims clerk for the U.S. Department of Labor. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday December 26, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Gale Allen; son, Jimmy Allen & wife Karlena; two sisters, Margaret Shields and Guyla Templeton; brother, Hubert Hooks, Jr., six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Gerald Allen; and her parents, Hubert Thomas and Selma Cloninger Hooks.
