Obituary of Edys Jones

Funeral services for Edys W. Jones, 88, of Bastrop, LA. are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, May 21,2004 at the First Church of God. Burial will follow in the Bartholomew Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones, a retired social worker with state of Louisiana Social Services and member of First Church of God, died Wednesday, May 19,2004 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Ted W. Jones; three daughters, Melva Harvey and husband Eddie of Ruston,LA, Jo Ann Grimes and husband Markham of Bastrop,LA, and Debbie Keene of Bastrop,LA; two sons, John T. Jones and wife B.G. of Houston,Tx., James M. Jones and wife Charlotte of Monroe,LA; sister, Louvenia Stephenson of Bastrop,LA; eleven grandchildren, Teri Johnston, Lori Kaiser, Ted Grimes, Mitch Grimes, Mark Grimes, Kathie Walker, Sherri White, Eric Jones, Scotty Jones, David Jones, Renee Boudreaux and seventeen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Visitation will be Thursday, May 20,2004 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
