Q: How would you describe Shannon Scott to someone who had never met them? A: I had the pleasure of knowing you for such a short 3 years but it has been the best and I thank God for allowing me to be your home supervisor in this short time of working here at Care Solutions. You always had a smile on your face when I would come to see you! I will always remember your penmanship, Shannon! You always had the prettiest handwriting for a man!! Heaven gained a very special person and friend! Fly High Shannon! Watch over your family and always know you were very loved!!

All memories I have of Shannon are wonderful ones. As a child riding your pony, spending the night and eating a great meal cooked by your mom. Heaven simply could not wait for a more loving caring angel. I know you are in a better place today. Your sister loves you so much and that's wonderful to see. You were a walking miracle here. Now you are with Jesus. I can still remember us playing as kids- at y’all’s trailer, little pony tied up outside, and your mom inside cooking one of her fabulous meals. RIP cousin. You have been loved.

My big brother, words cannot even begin to express the loss my heart feels. I know when you took your last breath here, you took your first in heaven. You were my first memory! You were my protector. I’ll never ever forget you. God told me in route home this, “I am showing Shannon the Kingdom of Heaven. He has been with me 3 times here. Before he was born, after his gunshot and now.” I just broke to pieces. He was trying to let me know you were with him. I’ll see you one day again and be with you in a much more loving place than this world. You deserve to be in the most beautiful place. We all just have to adjust to that until it’s our time. I love you to the moon and back and now to the heavens. Your “sis” as you would always call me.
