Funeral service for Charles E. Barton, Sr., 53, of Bastrop are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Tabora officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Barton, a construction worker, died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at LSU Medical Center-Monroe.
Mr. Barton is survived by his mother, Faye E. Waggoner and George of Pointe, LA ; son, Charles E. Barton, Jr. of Bastrop, LA ; sister, Sandra K. Spillers of Calhoun, LA ; three brothers, Horace L. Barton of Bastrop, LA, Douglas Barton of Bastrop, LA , and Rickey Barton of Bastrop, LA.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Barton, Eddie Malone, William Hickman, Bubba Farrar, Darryl Malone and Ricky Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary sutton and Keith Allen Barton.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
