Obituary of Carolyn S. Dean

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn S. Dean, age 67, of Bastrop are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday, July 26, 2018 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 AM - 10 AM service time.

Mrs. Dean, a Walmart stock clerk, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 in Monroe. She was a great Meme, loving wife, mother and mother-in-law. Mrs. Dean also loved to travel.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Dean; daughter, Samantha Howard and husband Gil of Monroe, LA; brothers, Thomas Pace, Mike Pace and wife Kathy, both of Start, LA; granddaughter, Casey Howard, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a loving Walmart family.

Mrs. Dean is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas M. and Bernice Pace.

Serving the family as honorary pallbearers are Thomas Pace, Mike Pace, Gil Howard and Terrance James.
