Memorial funeral services for Mr. Ray Townsend, Jr, age 54, are scheduled for 1 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Bonne Idee Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Stuckey officiating.
Mr. Townsend, a construction worker and resident of West Monroe, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. He loved football, shopping and listening to Christian music.
He is survived by his siblings, Gwendolyn Townsend and Robby of Sterlington, LA, Larry Townsend and wife Donna of West Monroe, LA, Michael Johnson, Melody Carson and husband Richard of West Monroe, LA, Rachel Townsend of Dallas, TX and Russell Townsend.
Mr. Townsend is preceded in death by his parents, Ray Townsend, Sr and Mary DelRio Townsend Oliver and sister, Tammy Townsend Barfield.
