Obituary of Barbara Ann Lowery

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Bennett Lowery are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at the Golden Funeral Home chapel with Brother Jim Brent officiating. Committal services will follow in the Beekman Cemetery. 

Mrs. Lowery passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the age of seventy-six.  She was a member and attended the Ebenezer Full Gospel Church.  She was the owner of Lowery Furniture, where she loved her work and considered her customers as her friends.  She enjoyed being with her family and her time at Savannah Court, where she was active in participating in balloon ball painting, yoga classes and bingo.

She is preceded in death by her husband David Bruce Lowery; parents, Lucy and Lee Monroe Bennett; brother, Donald Bennett; and special nephew, Michael Aud.

Mrs. Lowery is survived by her daughter, Kathy Harris, and husband W.B.; son, Bruce Wayne Lowery and wife Debbie; sister, Theresa Barthol, and husband Billie Merle; brothers, James Bennett, and wife Gloria, and Mike Bennett, and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Tabitha Chapman and husband Jay, Nina Shelton, Nathanael Lowery, Sarah Cheek and husband Jason, and Leah Robinson; great-grandchildren, Analise Shelton, Adelaide Shelton, Ainsley Shelton, Eion Robinson, and Thomas Randall Cheek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 AM, until service time.
