Obituary of Gary Wayne Frisby

Services celebrating the life of Mr. Gary Wayne Frisby are scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Allan Eppinette and Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in the LA Ark cemetery. A time of visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Frisby, a retired farmer, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of seventy-three. He was a member and attended the Jones Pentecostal Church until his health no longer allowed him to. He was a loving and devoted husband and father of five kids and he loved to farm, hunt, fish, trap and garden. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lawson Frisby and Othel Fitch; son, Dusty Frisby; sisters Mae Smith, Nancy Frisby, Lois Pannell, and Linda Robbins; and brothers, Donald Frisby and Walter Frisby.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-three years, Debbie Frisby; daughters, Sona Frisby, Alesha Dean, and husband Tanner, Chassady Frisby; son, Kenneth Frisby and wife Gena; sisters, Mary Freeman, Earlene Herring, Diane Barthol, and husband Jr., Shirley West, and husband Owen, Sharon Mayo, and husband Bobby; brothers, Robert Lee Frisby, and wife Myrtle, and Lamar Frisby, and wife Teresa. His grandchildren are, Bridget and Reggie Clark, Amber and Donnie Waltman, Courtney Adams, Mallory Adams, Dalton Frisby, Austin Frisby, Brooklyn Frisby, Tanner “Chase” Dean, Logan Dean, Devan Neal, Ruby Roddey, Luther “Trey” Roddey III, and Edward Roddey, along with twenty-three great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Kenneth Frisby, Dalton Frisby, Edward Roddey, Devan Neal, Trey Roddey, and Bear Robinson. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Pollock, Jamie Frisby, Donald Waltman, and Reggie Clark.
