My first memories of Mr. Eubanks was as the father of my friend Marilyn. I remember he was funny and kind. Fast forward to a memory that has stuck in my mind because it is still in my heart today. My husband and I were moving to South Africa to do mission work and we asked the leadership at Central, my home congregation, to sponsor us and provide some support. We were told they wouldn’t because they didn't like the preaching school my husband went to. Mr. Eubanks heard about it, had us come see him and as we sat in his living room he told us he would support us which he did for the 2 years we were there and he also contacted other individuals and encouraged them to help us. Because of him we raised about half of what we needed. His encouragement and support and all he did for us has never been forgotten. Marilyn, Kenny, and Wanda you are in our prayers…that God comfort you and give you peace and you celebrate the life of your wonderful father.

So sorry to see the passing of Mr. Melvin. He was such a kind and gentle man to us Cutoff kids as we were growing up. Prayers for all your family during your time of mourning.

I first met Mr. Eubanks at Savannah Court. I was the house keeper he was a very kind hearted man. I loved going to his room having good conversations with him. I would go to his room to clean but before I could start. He would say michell could you see if I dropped that little pill on the floor. Everytime he drop a pill I always find it for him. Mr. Eubanks will truly be missed. R.I.P until I see you in Heaven.
