Obituary of Nellie Faye Anthony

Funeral services for Nellie Faye Anthony are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, March 28, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Dusty Walker officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 AM. Mrs. Anthony, a member of First Assembly of God, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the age of seventy-nine. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Knighten, and husband Art; son, David Anthony; sister, Jean Woodruff; brothers, Basil Jones, and wife Sharon, James Jones, E.J. Jones, and wife Aleachia; grandchildren, Kandace Sandifer, Haven Anthony, Brandy Hatten, Brittany McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Noah Shaw, Austin Sandifer, Baylor Hatten, Brenna Hatten, Jayden Smith, Holly Smith, and Kinley McDaniel. Mrs. Anthony is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Anthony; parents, Etheridge and Olivia Jones; and siblings, Ed Jones, Lillie Faye Jones, Bruce Jones, Vernon Jones, and Michael Jones. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Daigle, Chad Daigle, Damion Daigle, Josh Daigle, Basil Jones, Tony Joe Jones, and James Jones.
