Please accept my prayers and condolences. My favorite memory of Johnny was his cocky attitude, his ability to make others laugh, and the way he ran when playing football. He ran low to the ground and was hard to tackle and bring down once someone could get his hands onto him, even if the guy was lots bigger than Johnny.

I am so sorry for your loss. We at St. Vincent will miss John very very much. John gave me a chance and an opportunity when no one else would. Over time, he and I came to respect each other very much both professionally and personally. While I remain at St. Vincent, trying very hard, to follow in his footsteps, he will be beside me every day. I already miss him so much.

My condolences to John’s family and friends. In 1975 I began working at Coopers Honda in Denham Springs and shortly after met John. He would frequent the shop and just shoot the breeze with everyone. His passion was racing motocross, so every Sunday he could be found at one of the local tracks. I lost track of John many years ago but recently found him on Facebook. We chatted a few times and laughed about old times. He will be missed. I pray comfort for his family and friends.
