Obituary of Larry Adron Greenwood

Funeral services for Larry Adron Greenwood are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, April 24, 2025, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens. Mr. Greenwood, a member of Greenacres Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of eighty-one. He loved his family dearly, and will be remembered as the most selfless man, always putting others, especially his family, before himself. Mr. Greenwood enjoyed gardening, reading, watching sports, and was never happier than when he was on his tractor. In his later years, genealogy became one of his passions. Mr. Greenwood is survived by his wife of sixty years, Pauline McDonald Greenwood; daughters, JoLynn Greenwood Musgrove, and husband Marc, and Kristi Greenwood Powell, and husband Joe; sons, Barben Bryan Greenwood, and wife Amanda, and Chad Adron Greenwood; grandchildren, Nikki Johnson, and husband Robert, Whitney Vocker, and husband Shane, Michael Musgrove, Mallory McKnight, and husband Grant, Ross Barben Powell, Addison Powell, Adron Taylor Greenwood, and wife Hannah; great-grandchildren, Noah David Vocker, Lucy Beth Vocker, Barben Eli Vocker, Kiptyn Lane Johnson, Weston Bryce Johnson, Peyton James Johnson, Avery Mae McKnight, Ada Michelle Greenwood, and Barben Jewel Greenwood. He is preceded in death by his father, Barben Burt Greenwood; mother, Mazie Kate Greenwood; and daughter-in-law, Ginger Greenwood. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Marsh, George Galler, Scott Hall, Adron Greenwood, Ross Powell, and Michael Musgrove. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Crow, Bernard Blocker, Doyle McDonald, and Ricky Randall.
