Amy was a Lady of beauty and intelligence. She will be missed by many. Just as I still miss her Dad, Lee Roy, (My double 1st Cousin) and her Mom, Betty, (a childhood friend). I will pray for God’s peace and comfort for her family.

God put Amy in my life many many years ago at church. As we became young adults and had our children, Amy and I became very close dear friends. Even though we were not blood sisters, I considered her my God bonded little sister. Amy taught me so much in life and we shared so many precious memories together that I will cherish forever. She was so easy to love. She truly cared about others and loved with all her heart.
Her faith was amazing and it never wavered through all of her difficult times. She was one of the bravest women I have ever known and faced her battles head on without ever complaining. She lived her life for the Lord and loved her children and grand children fiercely. Her greatest joy was seeing them come to Christ and accepting Him as their personal Lord and Savior. She loved her husband, Sonny with all her heart and would often refer to him as her “Rock”.
I have been so blessed to know Amy and I’m so thankful that God brought her and her sweet family into our lives. She will be horribly missed but never forgotten. I am so thankful she is healed and rejoicing in her Heavenly home! I love you my sweet dear little sister. It’s not “goodbye” but instead “I will see you again one day!”
May God wrap her precious children and grands in His loving arms and give Sonny, Debbie, Steve and her sweet nieces and nephews His peace that surpasses all our understanding! “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” Heaven definitely gained a saint and is a sweeter place with her in it.

Amy Lee was my lil sister and one of the dearest and truest friends that I have ever had or will ever have. The hole she leaves in my heart today is huge and I will miss her so much, but I am happy for her to be pain-free and that she now has her glorified perfect body and has been reunited with so many loved ones. What a homecoming for Amy! I know they were all waiting with open arms! And as happy as I’m sure Amy was to see them all, I know that she could not wait to see her Lord and Savior who she loved with all of her heart! Until I meet you there, my precious friend, I will treasure every memory.

I have known and loved Amy and her family for many years. She was a precious lady and I am praying for her family. I am proud to claim her as a distant cousin on my dad's side of the family. I still claim her children as my GBC babies from the years I had them in the nursery at GBC. Rest in peace Amy with your family and in the arms of Jesus.

Amy was one of the kindest souls I have ever known. A great classmate of BHS 1985, but an even better friend. We will miss her, but will never forget her. What a giant hole she leaves in our hearts. Much love to her sweet family. Dan Robertson
