Obituary of Dorothy Mae "Dot" Johnson

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Mae “Dot” Johnson, age 87, are schedule for 10 AM Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Crim officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday evening May 7 at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Johnson, a resident of Collinston, enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, and shopping, as well as, going to the grocery store with Jayce and spending time with her family and friends. She loved, most of all, watching her grandkids playing in the yard, especially her red-headed twins. She is survived by her sons, Grady Lynn Johnson of Monroe, LA and Michael Wayne Johnson and Belinda Oden of Collinston, LA; sisters, Sue Parker and husband Vaugh of West Monroe, LA, Rose Domangue; brother, Jimmy Randolph; grandchildren, Amber Wimbish and husband Brad, John Johnson and wife Kristy, Nickalaus Johnson and wife April, Christy Hayes and husband Peter, Cassie Hayes, Tara Johnson; 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband John H. Johnson; son, John Calvin Johnson; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Johnson; brothers, Huey Scroggins, Julius Scroggins, George Scroggins, J.C. Scroggins, Bobby Scroggins and sisters, Viola Keene and Bessie Jones. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Belinda for loving our grandmother as her own and for all she did to help take care of her.
