Obituary of Judith Ann Morris Yarbrough

A graveside funeral service for Judith Ann Morris Yarbrough is scheduled for 2 PM Monday, May 12, 2025, at Mer Rouge Cemetery, with Bro. Joey Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, prior to the service, from 12 noon until 1:30 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Yarbrough, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2025, at the age of seventy-one. She was a mail carrier with the United States Postal Office and retired after thirty years of service. Mrs. Yarbrough loved her animals and donated generously to the Morehouse Human Society. She had a kind heart and was generous in helping many. Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her sons, Brandon DeWayne Yarbrough of Bastrop, LA, and Regan Dale Yarbrough of Bastrop, LA; sister, Glenda Morris of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Haley Yarbrough and Haley Christophersen, Lexi Yarbrough, Evan Yarbrough, Brady Yarbrough, Aiden Yarbrough; great-grandchild, Westin Yarbrough and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Evelyn Morris; husband, Steve DeWayne Yarbrough; and sister, Susan Naron. Serving as pallbearers will be Kris Rallinson, Evan Yarbrough, Brady Yarbrough, Aiden Yarbrough, Joey Farrar and Clay Ray.
